When the world exploded, all we could see was beauty.
The blaze of fire engulfed and spread– Creating a mosaic of oranges and reds. The waves of heat hit our skin and you laughed as I gave you a spin.
For we knew this day would come for us soon.
We knew there would be a day when hell makes its move.
That’s why we traveled, sailed, and helped those who needed—for if the world were said to end, what good would it be to fear it?
So, as we come together once again, I hold you tight and kiss you. My only prayer is that we’ll be together past the end.
